For IMAC affinity chromatography. ZetaSep NTA FF6 is a FPLC column packed with 6% cross-linked beaded agarose resin, derivatized with uncharged nitrilotriacetic acid (NTA) ligand. The solid phase can be used to purify recombinant proteins containing polyhistidine (6xHis) residues via their selective affinity to chelated transition metals such as nickel, cobalt, copper, and zinc. After washing, bound proteins are eluted under native or denaturing conditions with either a low pH buffer or with buffer containing imidazole or histidine
