Anionic exchange resin for purification of biomolecules. ZetaCell Q Boost is a large cross-linked agarose bead, derivatized with quaternary ammonium (Q) strong anion ligand. The resin has increased binding capacity due to more readily available ion exchange ligands localized on the bead surface. The gel can be used to purify biomolecules via their ion exchange ligands. It is specifically designed for SMART Chromatography™ ion exchange chromatography separation.
SMART Chromatography™ uses proprietary ZetaCell solid phases. These are based on large-particle highly cross-linked agarose, which is surface-modified to provide the desired binding functionality. The beads have been designed to allow cells and cell debris from the bioreactor to pass unhindered through the packed column bed.
